Scene 1: Adam Wakes Up and Surprise, Surprise!
"Oh, man," I whisper to that other person who's been living in my mind, though I'm really not sure where I learned the words. "Now that was something I'm going to like, a long night's sleep. But for some reason, my ribs are killing me."
I figured it was time I got to work taking care of this place. I wish they had left me a manual as to what to do. And I don't mind saying those lions and tigers make me kinda nervous. Sometimes I don't like the way they stare at me. But all in all, it's not a bad gig, this garden tending business.
"Man, my ribs! Well, the squirrels are up and the birds are flying. But something over there, behind that bush." I walk over to take a look and "Wow!"
"Hey, Adam, my name's Eve and I am about to be the best thing that ever happened to you."
That should have tipped me off right from the beginning.
And this is my story and its not a pretty one.
