“That’s cool.” he said. “What about?”
“Well, its a duet. It was for me and a friend, but he refused to sing and he also had to move to England.” I shrugged. “But it dosen’t really matter because I’ve been stuck on the lyrics for days now.”
Nick reached for the piece of paper in front of me. “Maybe I can help.”
I felt my face getting red. “It’s really stupid, don’t worry about it-” I started, watching his eyes scan over the lyrics.
You are my angel in disguise as my best friend
You’re looking out for me all the time
...?
“I only need two more lines…” I trailed off. I could see the wheels turning in Nick’s mind.
“You are my angel in disguise as my best friend. You’re looking out for me all the time. I’ll watch your back. I know you’ll always be watching mine.” he said slowly.
I looked at Nick with awe. “That’s perfect!” I exclaimed.
He blushed. “It just came to me.”
“Thank you.” I said scribbling down the lyrics.
“Oh no!” He exclaimed jumping up.
“What?” I asked.
“We have to get Emily!”
