"Here's the deal, Lez. You write a collection of poetry, decent sized, at par with my writing standards...."
"Pretty low standards then", Lez mumbled under his breath, already taken aback by the prospect of writing poetry.
Lit glared at him for a few seconds before continuing. "....and I will write an adventure story to rival yours."
Lez's eyebrows shot up to the ceiling. "You're going to write an adventure story? Like, an actual adventure story, written in prose, with characters and a plotline and action scenes?" And Lesovikk burst out laughing. For the second time in 10 minutes, all the eyes in the cafe were rested upon their table, bewildered by Lez's explosive laughter.
Lit furrowed her forehead and said, in an injured voice, "What? I can write a story, big deal! The big challenge is for you to write decent poetry", before a wide smirk spread across her face.
Lesovikk's laughter suddenly stopped. "Are you serious about this?"
Lez stared into LiteraryGeek's eyes before finally saying, "I accept."
