The Humble Sandwich
Really, I think that you're all quite barmy,
It's simple with me: just make it a sarnie!
Two slices of bread, be they white, be they brown,
Those other dough treats can get outta town!
Fill them with cheese, fill them with ham,
Fill them with peanut butter and jam,
Fill them with salad, fill them with chips,
Fill them right up with barbeque crisps.
Cut them in four, or cut them in two,
I'm really not fussy, so either will do.
Leave on the crust or chop it right off,
Either is good for a right tasty scoff!
