So it may be that you like pancakes the most,

But surely that is  'cause you've not tasted French toast.

Just whip up some eggs and a small splash of cream,

Dip in your toast then onto the griddle to steam.

Not too long on the heat, you don't want them to burn,

Ahh look they're so golden, my stomach does yearn.

Add a dollop of syrup perhaps some icing sugar too,

Serve this to your friends they will most certainly coo.

French toast is delicious, so sweet and so hot,

A better breakfast food there certainly is not.
