pancakes

Pancakes are nice, cooked in a pan

they be the only ones that can

all covered in lemon and sugar, you'll see

they are a tasty treat for me

 

once they're golden baked and hot

i top them right there on the spot

then put them on a plate for us

wait, you left me on the no. 2 bus

 

Oh Well, more for me!

 

While i eat them, lemon dribbles

and sugar falls, while i nibble

golden syrup will also do

if that is what fancies you

 

mmm... I want pancakes now!
