A Moon
How doth the moonbeam shine
Its silver beams seem to chime
Amounst the sands of time
Along the shimmering silver line
They danced around in groups of three
Underneath the moonlit tree
Wondering if they'll ever be
United with the sparkling sea.
The gentle waves came crashing down
Though none knew why
It climbed so high
To touch the twinkling night sky
The stars shinned so quaintly
As the bright silver light faded so gently.
