Recommend

·         “Hey Lin, who you talking to?” asked Sarah, as she approached Leana and Curtis.” dis ma true homeboy Curtis, Sarah you interested?” she answered. Curtis bent his head, scratched his nose and chuckled nervously. “No thanks lin,”she answered, “I’m ok just by my lonesome” “suit yourself. “She answered. Curtis nodded in agreement. Although they both seemed to be apathetic toward each other, the way they stared into each other’s eyes shared a contrasting view.

·         “He is soooooooo cute, and that smile; priceless.  Would just love to hold him and …..And ….and….aaaaaaah!”Sarah though to herself. However in a desperate attempt to conceal her true feelings, she made some impudent remarks and left. Curtis on the other hand, who was really starting to feel something for the girl  whom he’d thought to be his dream come true had every fond feeling in his heart replaced by feelings of disgust and disappointment.

·         No sooner had Leana turned to apologize on behalf of Sarah than Curtis had fled the scene. A few days later, when Sarah had finally come to her senses and was ready to talk to Curtis, she found him making out in the hallway with a girl. Feeling humiliated and regretful, she rushed past them and got straight to class.

·         A few days later Sarah had met a guy. Now things weren’t going so well for Curtis and his girlfriend so they broke up. He was still interested in Sarah, but she was taken. That however didn’t keep her from admiring him even more. On finding out that he was alone; she quickly broke off her relationship with her latest boyfriend. Unfortunately for her, Curtis had just met another girl.

·         Sarah sat in the cafeteria after school, stirring her drink .she was trying to hold back the river of tears that she was urged to just let flow, when she saw Curtis. She suddenly got butterflies in her stomach and quickly tried to fix her makeup and calm down. In spite of her attempts to relax, she was sweating profusely and appeared to be quite pale.

·         Curtis went by, tempted to pass her straight, but decided to stop.”Are you ok?”He asked, noticing her condition.”Just dandy.”She replied trying to maintain her cool.”Listen I’d like to apolo……..” “Water under the bridge!”Curtis interrupted as he pulled out a chair to have a seat. They began talking. Soon his girlfriend walked up to the table and asked Curtis to speak to him.

·         When he returned, he mentioned to Sarah that his girlfriend was forced to break up with him, due to the fact that she would be leaving the country. Sarah was overcome with joy, but tried very hard to keep her feeling a secret.”Really? :she answered.” I’m sorry” her lips uttered one thing yet her heart rejoiced with another.” So what now?” she asked. “I don’t know .I just don’t know.”

·         As they continued speaking, Curtis seemed to have developed an infallible way of making her laugh. Curtis stopped talking for a while and just stared at Sarah. “What?”She asked, puzzled. “Nothing. Just trying to absorb as much of your beauty as I possibly can before you go changing personalities on me again.” “I wouldn’t” she smiled. “Just kidding” he laughed.

·         Those spectacular pearly white teeth that  sparkled when he smiled, those big brown eyes that seemed to look straight into her heart, that handsome face  that yelled “kiss me “every time you took a glance, that personality that you couldn’t trade anything in the world for, all these and more defined her reason for loving him the way she did. “You know Curtis, I’ve never met anyone like you .you are so special, original you are like the missing piece to my puzzle of life. I think I love you.”  I feel the same way about you Sarah. But I wasn’t sure how you felt.” Stretching out their hands across the table, they held hands and stood to share a kiss.

·         They’d moved to an isolated area of the cafeteria and had just shard the longest most passionate kiss .his hand stroked her face gently. He slowly ran his fingers through her soft long hair. He just stood there staring into her eyes silently. He said nothing .he didn’t have to. His eyes did all the speaking for him. They’d connected like the opposite terminals of a power supply .truly opposites did attract.

·         As he motioned for another kiss, her arm wrapped around his neck, he held the back of her neck and drew her nearer to him. Just as their lips were about to meet, Sarah got a cold look in her eyes, froze and fell to the ground, Curtis barely catching her. “Sarah?”She’d been unconscious. “Sarah, Sarah, Sarah, honey wake up! What’s wrong? HELP!!!Somebody help.....HEEEEEEELP! SOMEBODY HELP! Curtis had never been so scared in his life .would this be the end? Just as they’d finally gotten something good going .NO! HE HAD TO HAVE FAITH! But the question remained: would his faith be enough to save her?
