If I were to write a letter to my future wife, I think this is what I would say...
To my dearest wife,
I know not of your name, nor the term of endearment I call you; but I do know that I am yours and you are mine.
We may argue and say things we do not mean to each other, yet that is all we will say - just words. Tough times may lie ahead of us, but we will have each other - we will be together to face whatever life throws at us.
You will never have to fear anything when I am with you. There may days where you feel sad and think that life is being cruel to you, but I will hold you and comfort you and care for you - you will never have to face anything on your own.
As time passes, I hope we will grow old together, to experience the world we live in and to enjoy the moments we spend with each other.
No matter how far apart we are, I will always think about you; when I see you I will ask how you are and to say that I love you. I will always be there to greet you when you first wake up in the morning, and be the last one to see you off to sleep.
I will make this promise to you; you will always come first, I will support you in whatever you do and I will always be there to hold you when you think the world is against you.
You are my world and I will be at your side, always; until death do us part.
Your future husband, S_T.
