I decide to head back to the house to tell my parents in person what had happened. I start to run as fast as I could. The thought of me getting grounded slowly diminished as the worry of what could be happening to my little brother ruled my mind.
The cold air burns my lungs as a sprint down the street and turn onto my road. I see my parents are already out in front of the house with a panicked look on their face. I begin to explain my situation winded and out of breathe. My mom pats me on the back and looks down at her phone and receives the same text that I received from my younger brother.
