During my time to run for office, my main opponent was a woman by the name Shirley Johnson. A tall, brown-haired woman with eyes that pierced right through you. She was the incumbent mayor of Chicago and had been for three years. I was a huge underdog in the race until word leaked out that she was involved in a city-wide illegal gambling scheme. This news quickly narrowed the gap between the race. This was until the news about my husband's death came out and my arrest for murdering him soon followed. Consequently, my support tanked and she won the election by a landslide. The election torn me apart and it didn't help with my conviction. Oddly, when I thought about the election again, I realized that the main advisor for the mayor was the person I had just talked too. Was it possible that the mayor plotted the murder to win again?
