The only thing that Hanto could think about was the moment Charlotte's body pressed down against his. He could only think about how strongly her heart beated, how warm she felt against him, and how embarrassing it was that he lost.
He slammed a fist against a stone wall angrily, leaving cracks on it.
“How could she?” He hissed to himself as he paced around his courtyard. “I have to get rid of her.”
Hanto felt a burning hate rise up inside him and all he wanted to do was watch that girl suffer. He clenched his fist again, but let go of it, realizing that, as long as his father thought that she was useful, he wouldn’t be able to do anything about it.
He knew about the problem in HeiLi and ChanYi and GanFang. They were all the deepest of the deepest secrets of his father. Unless she had found out otherwise, she would have only been able to figure these out from successfully assessing the situation.
Hanto sighed as he ran a hand through his hair. He would have to find a way to make her worthless. Or to make her death look accidental. He tightened his fist.
Hanto wanted revenge.
