Get out of that burning kitchen as fast as your small, furry body can.

Face it.  You're a dog, not a fire-fighter.  Animal instinct says: "Run!"

So, you're off like a shot, through the door, and into the back yard.  You stand panting while watching the flames through the kitchen window, and notice that smoke is really pouring out of the house now.  No one is in sight, so you decide to run to the road to flag down a passing human to get them to help.  Or maybe you should run into the fields and look for help from a nearby farmer?
