thoughts that breathe, words that burn
Somewhere to be
Watching the world pass by,
Is this the truth, or is this a lie?
Wrapped in my dark silent dream,
a life that would never get to beam.
But then you came along and unraveled,
A part of me that I learnt to marvel.
You told me I was a seedling to be bloomed,
Just a dream yet to be proved.
Held me together when I wept,
Soothed my quick sobs when I slept.
Your splash of color on my canvas,
Brought life to this lost creature alas.
Your delicate fingers pressed against mine,
Your single laugh that stopped time.
A safeness hovers when you’re with me,
Not someone to cling on, but somewhere to be.
