Your Jokes

The jokes that many people make,

is such a stab, a breaking ache.

They don't know what one's going through,

they don't know what is really true.

The people that you least suspect,

hold the hearts that have been wrecked.

When you look into their eyes,

you won't see through their disguise.

They've mastered holding silent tears,

to laugh in front of all their peers.

You don't know who you'll affect

because your jokes are not correct.

The secret flaws of someones heart,

is making them almost fall apart.

The smile that spreads across their face,

is pain they pretend to replace.

You never know who it could be,

because it's the flawless people like me.

The End
