You Wouldn't Understand

I'm actually not even sure what this poem is about, but I feel like this is an appropriate time to apologise for my hopeless summaries. Um, I guess it's kind of about different types of grief, and how everyone grieves in varying ways, and some people just don't understand that.

Heartache and sorrow,

pushes you down, into the ground,

six feet under.

Suffocates your mind,

wounds your heart.

It hurts you know.

Like a bullet through my heart.

Emptiness,

loneliness,

pain.

Make it stop.

Please.

But no, you wouldn’t understand,

would you?

“What?”

You ask, with a bitter laugh.

I’ve experienced it all before.

Pain,

and more.

Again

and again.

So cliché,

that it’s a living nightmare.

Welcome to my life.

The End
