You Wear Me Thin

A unhappy time I can now look back on.

Ever had people try to wear you down but your so invincible it can't affect you anymore.

Ever felt so incredibly small that you can even watch yourself.

The needle indicating your weight size rapidly nearing zero.

Ever been so unhappy you fail to even form an opinion on anything.

Those dark nights where sleep can't happen and yet slimy tears can fall.

Has YOUR heart felt trapped and confined to the walls of your rib cage?

Pumping and pumping, thrusting and thrusting to be released.

Your body left unfathomably numb from all its been through.

So, so weary from grinding at the same pestle and mortar

   such is life.

The End
