You used to be my hero

You used to be my hero

Soaring through my skies

You used to be my hero

With that handsome grin and dancing eyes

You used to be my hero

Saving me from danger

You used to be my hero

Like my own personal ranger

You used to be my hero

Always there with the call of your name

You used to be my hero

But even the greatest heroes fall to fame

You used to be my hero

Even when you were famous

You used to be my hero

Until you became the criminal and heinous

You used to be my hero

But then in flew in the drugs

You used to be my hero

Until you stopped giving me hugs

You used to be my hero

Soaring through my skies

You used to be my hero

With that handsome grin and dancing eyes

My hero is gone, he is no more

My hero is gone, he has been shown the door

The city is still unsafe for little ones like me,

But if he cared, he'd still be here to see.

The End
