You Hope

When you miss someone, you don't cry. You wait, and you hope. you're upset when they leave, but that's not permanent. It hurts when they've been gone so long that you start to forget. That's when you cry; when it hurts. You cry when you cant remember how they laugh, or what your last conversation was about, or how they could make all the pain in the world go away so easily. When you miss them you're upset because they left, but that is the fault of fear. Fear of never seeing them again or them being too different when they return. Not because they merely left. They leave : you hope. They don't come back; that's when it really hurts.
