You and me according to the lady Sea

Waves crashing, moonlight flashing.

I toss and turn as I think of you.

I run out of bed into the dead of night.

Hit by the warm breeze that fills the air and the taste of salt on my tongue.

I sprint towards the dark sea, seeking comfort in her embrace and the wisdom of her years.

Hoping to drown out the words we said while the thoughts still lingered in my head.

As I’m taken into her arms, I’m encompassed by every thought of you and me … and how we’ll never be.

The End
