Is this really
a challenge?

Is it
wrong to be able to write however we please?

Bound and constricted by
rules and conventions
can never end a line in 'orange'
or purple
or speak of a dangerous silver wolf
or ask
for a pint

And our meter
be even and neat
but we should take a lesson from William Shatner
insert pauses here and there
meter beware, we're after your hide

But I say not that we should accept the challenge
but that it should come naturally to us
a sort of poetry
of its own

The End
