Cold As StoneMature

5th July 2011

Tried to hug me
But I flinched back from you
I don't know why
A hug felt so untrue

You want to hold hands
I don't want your touch
To feel the skin
Of perfection's too much

But only because
The perfection's not mine
But I don't feel wrong
Though nothing is fine

At a loss for pain
Hurt, anger too.
Lack of emotion
Stone through and through

I guess that's why
I flinched back from you
Because right in these moments
I feel nothing for you.

The End
