Writing is Sacred
Writing is holy,
the act of creation.
Until touched by creator,
the paper is virgin.
The virgin bears the child,
the child is the word.
The word transmits the message
of the spirit of its lord.
Books relay the stories
of people that are chosen
to illustrate the message
the writer's pen has hidden.
Conceived in the beginning
to be uncovered only later,
and reborn in minds of readers
are the thoughts of the creator.
