Will you?

Would you love me if I had flaws
or if I weren't so beautiful or slim?
Will you love me for what I am
and especially for what I am within.

Will you still love me when I've aged
when the autumn of life has turned me gray
In your eyes will I remain the bride
that you married on our wedding day?

Yes my dear, let me allay your fears
but tis you that wants to be reassured
You've always been that woman for me
and will be for this life's tenure

I'm quite blind to the flaws you mention
you've grown more beautiful over time
You're a mother,a wife,a friend, a lover
and I'm so glad that you're really mine

The End
