Will She Ever Be Happy?

There is a girl I know that hides in the shadows,
She lives life in fear and never knows what’s next,
She puts on a fake smile so no one will know
that she is a nervous wreck.

She cries and screams but nobody sees,
She so much better than she is made out to be,
Hidden in remorse and taking a killing course,
She screams but nobody hears,
She wants to be heard but no body cares.

At night when she sleeps,
Her dreams turn to nightmares,
She is drowning in her own depression
and wishing her life could be undone,
She begs for help but people just stare,
So there lies an ever lasting question...

Will she ever be happy?
