Who Said?
Who said that I had to follow the rules?
That I had to sit up straight,
chew with my mouth closed,
be the perfect little angel.
Who said that I had to be normal?
That I couldn't act out,
talk loud,
be crazy.
Who said that I had to act like you?
That I had to dress like you,
sound like you,
be you.
I said that I should ignore them.
That I shouldn't listen,
I shouldn't care,
because only I can tell myself what to do.
