Who is to say what 'forever' really means?

I touched your skin,

The slightest of grazes,

Against your hand.

Suddenly I felt heat,

Warmth, light,

Dizzy and confused.

Why would you affect me?

You know I fall too easily,

You know I fell for you.

You made me want you,

When I didn't want to,

I still jumped from my skin at your touch.

Now you're smiling,

Someone else has your gaze,

You act unaware of me.

I am your prisoner,

To torture as you wish,

I can't escape the chains I forged myself.

I find myself unable,

Through choice, not force,

To ask you to release my heart.

I am yours,

Always and forever,

Until this forever ends,

And another begins.

The End
