From Heartbreaks

I'm from kisses, left in her mouth
dried and spoken in emptied lungs.
I am from dirt and earth,
from water, wind and dark.
I am from lost beliefs,
lost choice, lost souls.
Where worlds were once wound as one,
against the bark of a dying tree,
a dying tree I'll remember forever.
Because it's where I used to be.

But that's where I am from, not where I've gone...I find there is no looking back from this happiness.

The End
