I Am From Within You

I am from within you

A single bubble of light

Blanketed in the cold darkness

As you called his name, again and again

It is from this hole in the universe

That I am, and was created

And with me came your obligation

To give me a reason, and to give me life

And I was raised to touch the sky

And to sing myself to sleep with stars

Slowly learning to nurse my own wounds

But I am from within you

And it will soon be time for me

To venture out into the open pastures

For home is never a definite place

But I am from within you

The End
