Where are the adventurers?

It's now well into the third millennium
and we can only cry in despair
We were promised worlds extra-terrestrial
instead overcrowded we gasp for air

The pregnant wishes of a century earlier
have only but remained as dreams
All we've accomplished is refined killing
and the harvesting of helpless screams

The world needs a few adventurers
a spark that ignites us to explore
take us to that next frontier
to our closed world - open a door

The End
