What I've Come To Know

It's about trying to sort your life out, but being unable to because what you've been expecting to come, never surfaces

Baby, these times are getting the best of me

Sorrow crushing, warping all sense of reality

I wish I could home, but the money ran dry

I wish I could live a life, without the urge to die

Another phone call in vain

Another denial of a last escape

Baby, these times will be my end

Baby, these days are too hard for me now

So far I've come to know

Nothing but a cruel lash of a fate

Bittersweet, I'm on the retreat

Only a broken reality

The society I've come to know

Baby, the days are rushing ahead of me

My heart's beating faster, my own enemy

I wish I could exist easy, but the truth is too dark

I wish we could run today, reviving the dead spark

Another rush of heavy pain

Another distortion of what remains

Baby, I just couldn't cope without you

Baby, What the hell can I do

So far I’ve come to know

Nothing but a cruel lash of fate

Bittersweet, I’m on the retreat

Only a broken reality

The society I’ve come to know

The End
