What I Would Do For You

If we stared at the sun,

I suppose our eyes would burn.

But if I look into yours,

My heart would yearn.

If we held a lightbulb for a while,

Our hands would probably blister.

But if I don't hold your hands,

My head would be in a twister.

If we were hit with a shooting star,

We might catch aflame.

But you hit me like lightning.

And you and I we became.

If we fell from a cliff,

At least we'd fall together.

Because, without you,

I'd be lost forever.

The End
