Were.Mature

I'm just venting bitterness I guess.

You were my girl.

The smile the love the eyes the skin the everything

But now it's faded so fast, stuck like tar on a hot day.

You turned the universe in sync with your back on me.

It all turned.

All your favourite shops smell like shit now, the dust clotting my nasal paths.

All the places that held any memories have bled onto the floor.

Leaving a mess nobody wants to clean.

Time heals, apparently.

I take my clock, and wind it, around and around, waiting for the darkness to recede.

The End
