We Smile With Our Hearts
I've tears in my eyes,
And a smile in my heart,
The world filled with music,
The world filled with art.
We wish to be held,
We wish to be seen.
Until we find someone,
Someone we need.
Our scars they erase,
Our scars fade away,
Our fingers intertwine,
Our fingers interlace.
With hopes of the future,
Tomorrow will pass,
We live in the moment,
A world made of glass.
See through our flaws,
See through the lies,
Love still remains,
Sometimes in disguise.
So we lay down our heads,
Close up our minds,
For we smile with our hearts,
To break bittersweet binds.
