We Don't Need You

It’s easy to concede defeat
when living becomes a burden
I don’t the living death to faze me
keep with your silence and I’ll just move on

Rule Catharsis second to none
When everything turned and you were gone
I would have given in to pain
yet I knew that I was better than that

We don’t need you
We don’t need you
We’ll take the new morning sun
We don’t need you
We never needed you
You were never the one

Present your defamation
it’s not my problem anymore
I’ll write what I please
and if you don’t like it, well that’s just too bad

Spread your lies, your unethical slant
enter your creed to distance my truth
But when the smoke rises and we are gone
I hope you find it’s time to grow up

The End
