We are Insignificant

Just a little muse from during a rainstorm with heavy winds.

Let the mountains rage at the sky,

Let the thunder shout back in reply,

No greater war was ever fought,

Than that between the elements.

In fire, we burn,

In winds, we perish,

In water, we drown,

In landslides, we crumble.

We, the unwelcome spectators,

The meddling participants,

In nature's harshest conflicts.

We, the arrogant ant

That works as one alone,

Instead of as one whole.

That believes we are big,

When we are so small.

We are unimportant,

When natures comes to call.

We are insignificant,

When nature goes to war.

The End
