Water Falling

It goes farther, farther

Flowing down like a waterfall

Never stopping

Never ending as the birds start the call

 

I wipe it away again, again

Though the flowing never ceases

Heartbroken

Heart stabbing to pieces

 

Until the voice I hear, I hear

Calling to comfort me now

Reassuring

Uplifting as a vow

 

The waterfall slows, slows

None more left to cry

Best friend is here

Best friend is near to be by my side
