Vimy Ridge

Vimy Ridge

As I lay in my trench

I can feel the rain's cold drench

There is no hope in sight

But we must keep up the fight.

I am soaked to the bone

We are fixed at a constant prone

The mud is unholy

We sink closer to hell slowly.

We are ready to move

Our core has everything to prove

Others try and fail

But we the Canadians shall prevail.

The End
