for me it's like

looking from the outside in

i am here but

feel the oddness

the fake and untrue of it all

my forced smile

hides what i know

and my pretend laugh

keeps it buried underbelow

to seal the deal

i tell all lies

and start to

convince even myself

it's a good act

you would never know

but it's all just for show
