The Ultimate Protest

Remember when we used to wait

on days that seemed so far

but when everything's so close

reality just dies past our eyes

so perception drives our world

so how can we learn from others?

when it's what we see

and when what we see is the same

we already lost our own

we already lost it all

death dies today

on far fetched theories

but that's okay

because our abstract words also die

in our abstract feelings

we want reality

screams ring from corner to corner

and far back around

It is thought that kills us

when all we see is chaos

and we see past it all

this is the world today

so play my poems loud

and watch me die poor

the ultimate protest

to no one in particular,

but myself

The End
