I lost my mind somewhere between life and death

I lost my mind somewhere between life and death

conscious only of matter, pure

shiny rocks breed shiny cars

and adjectives lost for the lack of feel

there is no hope for a place so changed

'cause I just lay among the days

hollow grass and movements pays

for the choices I never gave

but rhyming words bring shallow feelings

while others find nothing at all

information defined as a process

by the millisecond already gone

thoughts bring wants

and wants find truth

all around desolate green towns

messages stopped by apathetic youth

who find contentment in how we do

no hope for us

for life's gone mad

follow lies

for here we dine

elegant plates

long gone drinks

but hopeless days

find sanctuary in place

of a thing we call the mind

The End
