Swim with me little fish

-your rainbow scales unscathed-

swim with me upstream

where lines, hooks,  and

shiny silver jigs twirl to tease

and tempt you to the surface.

When the wanting consumes

and lures you into the light,

swim beneath my shadow,

and observe my sacrifice,

then leave and return

to the cool waters, where,

under the willow shade

you will grow wise.

Swim with me, little fish.

Swim with me upstream.

The End
