untitled
I was blinded by your light
walked the walk and talked the talk
I felt comfort from my plight
The truths you showed me
your promises that kept me pure
While I walked the way.
And as I aged the questions came
I decided to think of you in my own way
And was discarded from your house
I still see the glimmer
and one day will face the glare
yet today as tomorrow I live.
