untitled 18

for someone

Life without you isn't the same

As if looking through different eyes

The view is the same with everything in place

Now barren and inert and dry

The well, missing from within my heart

Replaced with emptiness and pain

Like a battle scarred veteran missing a limb

But the feelings remain all the same

Acceptance is painful, denial misplaced

Keeping faint hopes of reunion alive

A condemned man hoping, praying to god

Willing for death to arrive

Life is a cycle that continues to turn

Never ending and waits for no man

Friendship is precious but is it enough

Forever wanting more if I can

The End
