Hear Me

Recommend

Hear me now,

Because these words are for you;

I sit here to contemplate,

My many poor misfortunes,

My mind dogs me like a craving soul,

Yet you - so reminiscent, so familiar - reappear again,

Slip into my mind,

Far too easily, far too quickly,

I think to myself about you,

And a tear appears,

That fateful stream,

Reminding me constantly about you,

About how I cannot cross that line,

And become part of your life,

You reject me, perhaps without knowing,

Leaving me on my own,

I think to myself,

How funny it is that everything can change,

And yet still be the same;

How I wish I was blind,

Because I see too much,

And see so little of you.
