Now there are those standing out in the streets
Trying to address the world crumbling beneath their feet
The naysayers call it a juvenile approach
Far set in their way to demand a better world
Though idea struck the youth in bolts
Can peaceful protest even be called revolt?
If it isn't evident they deserve our applause
One humanity, peace, co-operation is their cause
The brave asking for a better world with out a single bomb
Lets demand equality and an end to war, let the world be calm.
While an officer chants to "serve and protect"
As he blatantly imposes his will on those the country neglects
Let's not forget those who came before
The likes Of Martin Luther King, Ghandi & more
All of which would support your civil rights
As we continue to explore
What's wrong with saving our world from corporate greed
While putting priorities first?
Satisfying the impoverished, starving thirst
Or continue to drain our world in another monopoly burst by burst.
