You're unique, but I'm sure you know

I'm sure everyone told you so

No? Wow, oh

I'm different too, you see

Because there's definitely only one me

Tell you how I'm different? Sure

Everyone tells me I'm a bore

"Regular teenagers aren't like you," they say

I just tend to walk away

To them, I'm different because I don't party and get wasted

And I also love being educated

This love for books that I harbor

Makes people grow farther

Farther and farther away from me

And that's just how I want it to be

I want friends who love me for me

My intelligence and dignity

Those things matter to me

Me and you are unique you see,

Would you like to befriend me?

The End
