Ugly On The Inside

They told me not to listen
Told me not to cry
The popular girl
Is a demon inside

They told me not to look
Told me not to hide
The pretty posh girl
Is ugly inside

I wanna take your heart,
And plant it in the ground,
See if a pretty flower would grow.

I wanna take your blood,
And water all the trees,
See if they promise fruit.

I wanna meet the girl you grew.
I wanna see the seeds you sew.

They told me not to look,
The told me not to copy,
The girl in the short skirt,
Is a monster inside.

They told me not to stare,
They told me not to care,
The size zero girl,
Is ugly inside.

I wanna take your flesh,
And fertilize the plants,
See if they continue to grow.

I wanna take your soul,
And bless all the leaves,
See if they wilt on touch.

Is the girl you grew so ugly,
The seeds you sew didn't grow?

Is the person you are,
nothing but a shell,
A pest of life's green gardens?

You may be a blooming flower on the outside,
On the inside you are fake.
On the outside you are bug-free,
On the inside you're infested.
On the outside you are beautiful,
But on the inside you are ugly.

The End
