Two Worlds

Trapped in a dream

Is where I ought to be

Drifting through life

Like the water in a stream

Where others  leave their footprints,

Eroded by their kind

I leave only ripples

Soon to vanish out of sight

And when others come

The stars collide

And illuminate my velvet night

Another's dream to cross and twine

And ruin all the fears

While the two worlds align

Everything takes on new meaning

A brighter moon will shine

Drift or walk, I'm still alive

And together our worlds will thrive

The End
