Two Singles

(I called it an analogy because it's an analogy for a rebound relationship)

You begged me to release you
Unlock the lonesome cage
So I used my key and welcomed you
To share the space inside my heart
We were two, living there together happily
But then you tried to break free and escape
You had left my heart, the warm and fuzzy shelter it gave
And now all that's left are memories
And one shattered feeling

The End
